Here are a few templates I use for common scenarios, depending on what I think would hook my prospects’ attention:

The Specific Compliment Approach

"Hi [Name], just read your post about [topic] and was impressed by your insight on [specific point]. It actually changed how I think about [area]. I'm curious - have you considered applying this to [brief business scenario]?"

The Mutual Connection Builder

"Just saw we're both connected with [mutual connection]. Last week, they were talking about your great work in [focus area]. I'm reaching out because [quick value point]. Curious about your approach to [specific challenge]?"

The Industry Insight Opener

"Appreciate you connecting. I know you're busy, so i'll keep this short: a lot of teams I talk to are juggling [problem 1], [problem 2], [problem 3], and [problem 4] all at once. Just curious, how do you manage [the bigger problem] across your sites?"

The Content Response Method

"Your article about [topic] really resonated, especially when you mentioned [specific point]. We're seeing similar patterns with our clients. Would you be open to discussing how we're helping companies implement this in [practical application]?"

The Valuable Resource Technique

"Hey, I found this [resource] that addresses the [challenge] you mentioned in your recent [post]. It has some surprising insights about [focus area] that most miss. Thought you might find it valuable. Happy to discuss if it's relevant."

The Problem Identifier Approach
